Swiss Real Management AG (“SRM”) is a boutique Swiss asset and real estate management company. SRM, with its office in Zurich, specializes in commercial real estate – especially in complex retail properties – throughout Switzerland and Germany. Our strength, due to our profile, is to find solutions to difficult situations. The unique profile of its management team allows SRM to serve various types of investors (i.e. private and institutional), both Swiss and international. Our outstanding performance allow us to maximize the client’s return on investment.

Our Management Team

  • Amir Bernstein

    Amir Bernstein started his professional career as a lawyer in a leading law firm while holding a teaching position in a law school. Subsequently, Amir headed the Swiss operation of a foreign listed real estate company, building a portfolio of approximately CHF 600m AUM. Following this position, Amir was appointed as the Managing Director of Gazit Europe, subsidiary of one of the world’s largest retail investor Gazit Globe (approx. 600 shopping centers worldwide, listed on the NYSE & TASE). In addition, Amir was a member of the Board of Directors of the Finish listed Citycon (NASDAQ OMX Helsinki / the largest retail investor in the Nordics). Currently, Amir sits on the board of a few private real estate companies. Amir holds an LL.M degree from Boston University School of Law and was admitted to the NY bar. Amir is the president of the Swiss foundation Kiriat Yearim (Kids-at-Risk Village)(see more under Social Responsibility).

    Samuel Schaer (36), an architect by profession, brings both development and property management expertise. After few years as an architect, Samuel has decided to gain more experience in the field of real estate management. Given the challenges we face in the office market, Samuel will provide answers for tomorrow’s needs. Samuel Schaer has a wide range of experience in construction and real estate management in Switzerland. His architectural technical background provides in depth knowledge of building construction in steering the companies investment opportunities. A practical common sense approach to business benefits both internal and external customers alike. Samuel’s experience will compliment his work in managing the re-development of our portfolio business.
